Myth of Menopause - Your Best Years are Still Ahead
by Patricia Little

Ladies have been living in fear of their menopause for over a hundred years. The threat has been that the best part of life is finished, the remaining years will be clouded in sickness, that we will get old and wrinkled spending the rest of our years potting plants, comparing skin creams and babysitting.
Nothing could be further from the truth. For over forty odd years we have been quietly building a strong knowledge base to ensure our end will definitely be better than our beginning.
We each have a unique contribution. Some seem to be able to make a start in the time whilst others are being prepared and taught through a mixture of good and bad experiences
guaranteeing a slightly later manifestation.
Work experience, family life, relationships, skill development and health issues have all played a significant role in
contributing to our special contribution to the world.
Many of us have been through experiences that provided wisdom and understanding to single us out from anyone else, male or female.
We are supposed to be concerned that menopause is coming earlier because of increased challenges to body and mind in
the current season.
These issues can be addressed with a healthy diet accompanied by a strong state of mind and getting involved in a task that provides pleasure, satisfaction and maybe even make some money.
Menopause must be recognized as a 'change of life' for the better.
Life experiences have built a level of personal understanding that without fail has told us what we like, who we like and how we should behave in new situations.
There exists a new boldness and freshness that will definitely allow others to be blessed by our ripening season.
